I usually do not give a number first. The reason is simple: the price of an S455 depends on the configuration scope and the delivery conditions.
The S455 uses a hydraulic system to complete the main deployment and retraction movements, and it supports remote-control operation.Under common configuration and site conditions, a project team can usually complete the changeover from transport mode to performance mode in about 40 minutes with 3 operators.The base stage area of the S455 is 105 m². Additional stage extension can also be added according to project requirements.

Below, I break the quotation into 6 parts. Once the scope is aligned first, the price will be much closer to an executable solution.
1) Vehicle and Main Stage Structure
This is the foundation of the equipment. It defines the overall form, load-bearing base, transport requirements, and on-site deployment space.
Before asking for a final price, you need to confirm the required stage area. You also need to decide whether an extended stage area is required.Any extension will change the structural configuration. It will also affect how the stage systems are arranged.
2) Hydraulic System and Remote-control Configuration
The hydraulic system affects deployment efficiency and on-site workflow.You need to clarify which movements are included in the solution. You also need to confirm the operation method.
For a more stable deployment schedule, the movement scope should be written clearly in the project confirmation list.When more systems are integrated into the stage, the mounting and layout scope should also be confirmed at the same time.
3) Display System
A display system is not required for every project. Many customers decide based on budget and event goals.You can choose to include an LED screen. You can also keep the quotation without a display system.
Most price differences in this part come from the display scope.You need to confirm whether the LED screen is included. You also need to confirm key specifications such as screen size and pixel pitch.Without these details, the quotation can only be given as a rough price range.

4) Lighting System
The lighting system needs a defined scope before pricing. Different events have different lighting goals, so the number of fixtures and control requirements will also vary.
If you only say “we need lighting,” the supplier cannot quote against a clear standard.A more stable budget starts with a clear description of the event type, lighting purpose, and expected coverage.
5) Line Array Audio System
The audio system also needs a clear scope.You need to confirm whether a line array audio system is included. You also need to define the coverage target and layout method.
When the audio scope is unclear, the solution is very likely to be revised several times. The budget will change with it.
6) Power Solution: Onboard Generator vs. External Power
The S455 can support both an onboard generator and external power. Whether the generator is included should be confirmed in the project scope list.Power planning affects how dependent the project is on site conditions. It also affects power distribution and cable routing.
If the site power supply is unstable, an onboard generator can help control more variables.
If stable external power is available on site, the solution can usually be kept lighter.
7 Questions to Confirm Before Requesting a Quotation
Use these 7 questions to align the project scope with the supplier before pricing:
Which country and city will the equipment be delivered to?
Do you have photos or videos of the site entrance and turning points?
How long is the available on-site deployment window?
How many operators do you plan to arrange?
Does the solution include a display system? If yes, what are the screen size and key specifications?
Are the lighting system and line array audio system included in this quotation scope?
Will the project use an onboard generator, external power, or both?
Once these details are clear, the quotation will be much closer to a real executable solution.
It also helps reduce the cost of repeated configuration changes later.
